Our Customer was conducting a Global Phase II clinical trial; the product required was a high value disease-modifying drug that was tightly watched by the Manufacturer, the Manufacturer also ensured there was limited supply within the market.
Quantities required by our Customer were in large amounts. The limited availability of the cold-chain product and the high value per unit meant that wastage and supply had to be kept to a minimum.
Our experienced project managers began a strategy for sourcing this product.
We used our well-established Global supply network to gain smaller batches, larger quantities and shorter lead times. Thus meaning the trial would be a success.
