Meet the Team
David Allen
Chief Executive Officer
As founder of ADAllen Pharma, David has played a fundamental role in the company's continued success, overseeing its assured progress from a national operation to a major international supplier. A Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, where he has served as both Vice President and Treasurer, David has chaired a number standing committees and is a leading voice for the enforcement of high professional standards within the industry.
Richard Allen
Responsible Person
Richard was appointed Finance Director & Responsible Person in October 2013. Prior to this Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 and spent 3 years in audit at Deloitte LLP. After progressing to Audit Manager, Richard moved to Inchcape Retail as Financial Reporting Manager where he managed a UK consolidation team, then moved to Tate & Lyle plc in 2009 where he managed the restatement of the Annual Report following a significant restructure. Richard's most recent appointment was at Ladbrokes Plc.
Yvonne Johnson
Senior Project Manager – Clinical Trial Supplies
Yvonne joined the CT team as a Project Manager in January 2011. Yvonne has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for over 25 years. As Project Manager for Ivax her main role was sourcing API directly from Manufacturers throughout Asia and Europe. She has built up excellent relationships with both Suppliers and Customers, working under strict operating procedures and customer confidentiality.
Bonnie Sharp
Finance Manager
Bonnie joined the ADAllen Pharma team in 2004 after working in the City for 19 years. She started her career in Credit Control (Commodities) before joining a Scottish Merchant Bank and switching to Corporate Foreign Exchange and Deposit/Loan Dealing.
Lisa Mackerness
Project Manager - Medical Devices
Lisa has been working as Medical Device Project Manager since 2021. Prior to this Lisa has worked in sales and administration in a number of industries and has significant experience in a multitude of areas of sales and administration and is adaptable to the requirements of the business.
Karen Prentice
Export Manager
Karen joined ADAllen Pharma in 2007 as part of the reactpharma division in UK and export sales. She has great experience in selling medicines to export markets and understanding the supply chain outside of EU. She also operates as Export Manager for the SunVit-D3 subsidiary involved with setting up distribution partners in countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Mongolia and Mauritius.
Umar Hassan
Quality Manager
Umar has an MSc Industrial Pharmaceutical Studies in 2011 and Bsc (Hons.) Pharmaceutical Science in 2007. He has worked Teva, AstraZeneca and a number of SMEs in QA roles and RP roles in the Quality Teams supporting investigations, complaints and deviations including CAPA change controls.
