Our aim is to provide effective environmental awareness and controls, seeking to continually improve all aspects of our environmental performance. This policy forms the basis for setting environmental objectives that will continually improve the manner in which we operate.
Our objectives
We will ensure that every aspect of our activities is conducted in accordance with sound environmental practices through identifying and minimise the risks to the environment from the company’s activities, complying with the requirements of all environmental legislation and act in anticipation of future requirements.
ADAllen is committed to sustainability excellence and have a goal to be net-zero for direct emissions by 2040 and all emissions by 2045.
Policy
The company are looking to implement the following initiatives:
- Introduction of a Company low emissions car salary sacrifice scheme with the intention of replacing Petrol/Diesel cars with EVs by 2030.
- Move to 100% Renewable Electricity by 2032.
- Reduce upstream and downstream transportation emissions by 5% by working with transport suppliers to reduce CO2e of the operations.
- Utilising more eco-friendly routes.
- Reduce Our Waste by 80% by 2040.
- Obtain activity-based data from suppliers
- Providing employee awareness training to enable staff at all levels to understand and contribute to the implementation of this policy
This policy outlines the company’s commitment to minimising the adverse environmental impact from our activities and is continually under review.
